The Rev. David S. Frazier, 97, died after a long illness at 7:50 p.m. Friday in Maranatha Manor, where he'd been the past four years. A native of the Boaz community east of Clever, Rev. Frazier was ordained a minister in the Methodist faith in 1918. He pastored churches in Ponce de Leon, Hurley, Galena, Clever, Lebanon, Aurora and other Ozarks communities. He also taught elementary school for about 12 years in Christian County and was a member and former past master of the Billings Masonic Lodge. Survivors include three sons, Arthur of Hot Springs, Ark., Curtice, Route 1, Clever and Gilbert of Ash Grove, two daughters, Mrs. Blanche Crowley, Route 1, Clever and Mrs. Louise Morris, Baltimore, Md.; and 12 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild. Services were announced by Harris of Nixa.
