Louise Ballamis was born in Bingham Canyon, Utah September 29, 1927 to Louis E. and Gladys P. Ballamis, and passed away at her home in Midvale, Utah on April 5, 2012. She graduated from Bingham High School and later moved with her family to Midvale. Louise worked for the Deseret News and the State of Utah Department of Work Force Services for several years. Aunt Louise loved her many nieces and nephews, and loved spending time with all children. Birthdays and holidays were always special to her. She truly was a great sister and aunt. Survived by her sisters, Vivian, Linda (Keith); brother, Chris; and extended Ballamis family. Preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Ernie (Faustine), and James; and a sister, Elaine. A special thanks to her niece, who was her caregiver for many years, and to her doctor, Dr. Todd Nelson. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, April 11, at 12 noon at the Midvale City Cemetery, 450 West 7500 South. There will be an informal gathering from 11-11:45 a.m. at Goff Mortuary, 8090 So. State, Midvale.
