To Elmer G. Adams
Funeral services for Elmer G. Adams, 77-year-old resident of North Main Street, were conducted early this afternoon at the Universalist Church.
Mr. Adams died suddenly at his residence Saturday night. His death was attributed to a heart attack.
A retired farmer and grocer had been living in this city for the past 25 years. More recently he had been operating a Tourist Court on North Main.
Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Eva Adams; one son, Waldo Adams; and two grandsons, Waldo Adams, Jr. of Charleston, S.C., and E.G. Adams of Champaign, Ill. He also leaves a daughter-in-law, Lyda Adams, one grand-daughter-in-law, Betty Adams and a great granddaughter, Elizabeth Adams.
Following the services at the church, burial was at Riverside Cemetery.
