Born April 30, 1872 in Christian Co., Ky. near Crofton, the son of Andrew Jackson and Jane Cansler Adams.
Married Mary Lou Bowling on January 4, 1893. Member of the Universalist Church. For many years, owned and operated a farm and store at Adamsville on the Dawson Springs Road. Moved to Hopkinsville and entered the grocery business on West Side and E. Eighteenth St.
Survivors include his wife; children, Mrs. Claude Cranor, Mrs. B. E. Brown, Lewis Adams, Mrs. H. C. Boehm all of Hopkinsville, Mrs. John Gilligan of Petersburg, Va., Mrs. Paul Cayce of Jackson, Tn.; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; a brother, E. G. Adams and a sister, Mrs. Lucy Rogers both of Hopkinsville.
Services on Tuesday September 4, 1945, with burial in Riverside Cemetery, Hopkinsville.
