John W. Dean, 76, died December 10, 1997 at a local hospital. He was a fireman for Manitou Springs and co-owned Triple A Marking Products. Mr. Dean served in the Army during World War II.
Mr. Dean was born February 3, 1921, in Colorado Springs. He was married February 24, 1946, to Adele Foerster.
He is survived by his wife; three daughters, Carol Peterson, Evelyn Nystrom and Mary Brunette; two sisters, Alice Steppler and Rose Drinnon; and seven grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Friday at Nolan Funeral Home, 225 North Weber Street, 632-7608. Vigil service will follow at 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Mass will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 2030 West Colorado Ave.
