Inez is survived by seven daughters, Mary Murray, and her husband, Oneth, Elizabeth Mahan, and her husband, Glen, all of Derby, Kansas, Anna Burgess, and her husband, Stanley, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Rosalie DeVanney, and her husband, Marshall, of Midwest City, Oklahoma, Mildred Bennett, and her husband, Richard, of Wichita, Kansas, Bonnie Showler, and her husband, Jim, and Debbie Keen, and her husband, Brad, all of Lebanon; two sons, Harold Duffey, Jr., and Thomas Duffey, and his wife, Petra, all of Derby, Kansas; twenty-four grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; four brothers, Chester Agee, and his wife, Bonnie, of Lebanon, Albert Agee, of Peoria, Illinois, Lawrence Agee, of Phillipsburg, and Paul Agee, of Brighton, Michigan; a number of nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends. She was born in Kansas City, Kansas, and then moved with her family to the Blackfoot community, near Lebanon, when she was five years old. She attended several schools in the Blackfoot area, including Reagan School. After she and Harold were married, they made their home on their farm, near Lebanon, and lovingly raised their children. In addition to being a devoted homemaker to her husband and family, Inez worked at the Rice Stix Factory for a few years. She also helped Harold in the operation of their farm which they owned for over twenty-five years. In 1996, they sold the farm and moved into Lebanon. Inez was a longtime active member of the Lebanon Church of the Nazarene, where she was involved in Sunday school and many other areas of church work. Her faith and her church were very important to her throughout the years. In her spare time she enjoyed doing needlework projects, embroidery and crocheting. She also was an avid reader and enjoyed growing beautiful plants and flowers. She liked tracing her family's genealogy and learning the history of her ancestors. She had a very keen memory and a gifted mind for details, and loved being with people. Her family was always the center of her life and she especially enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Inez was a very special mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt, and was a kind and caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and know that her family and friends will hold tightly to the wonderful memories she created for them throughout her lifetime.
