Chester C. Brooks, 87, father of Ray Brooks and Mrs. Loraine Cook of Meriden, died at the home of his son, John, near Topeka, Saturday evening. He was a former resident of Milligan district, where he lived for 40 years. Funeral services were held from the Evangelical United Brethern Church Monday afternoon, with burial in Meriden Cemetery.
