VAN LIEW.--Edson Van Liew died December 20, 1930 in Orange, New York. He was born February 24, 1849 in Orange, the son of Isaac Voorhees and Catherine Lamoreaux Van Liew. He married Mary Sunderlin in 1872. She died in 1916. He leaves a son, D. C. Van Liew and six daughters, Mrs. W. R. Mattoon, Mrs. J. J. Sitzer, Mrs. Charles Howell, Mrs. L. D. Huey, Miss Caroline and Miss Lydia. Burial in Tyrone Union Cemetery.
