Kenneth lived in Richmond most of his life, retiring as a carpenter foreman formerly working for Daily Construction, Cutter Construction and Oberle and Associates. He was a 55 year member of the Carpenter's Union Local #912 and a member of the First Baptist Church. Kenneth was an avid gardener, growing award winning Dahlias.
Survivors include three children: Darryl Toschlog of Greenville, OH, Kathy (Scott) Sweet of Richmond and Jerry (companion, Kathie Gunder) Toschlog of Centerville; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; sister, Mildred McMichael of Springfield, OH; brother, Lorin Toschlog of Richmond; and several nieces and nephews.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his wife of 23 years, Jessie Toschlog, on March 7, 2006; son, Larry Toschlog in 2006; brother, Verlin Toschlog; and two sisters: Thelma Matthews and Irene Baker.
Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 18, 2012 at Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home with Reverend Phillip Hodgkin officiating. Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. Friday, February 17, 2012 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Falmouth. Memorial contributions may be given to the Richmond Rose Garden, c/o Wayne County Foundation, 33 S. 7th St., Richmond, IN 47374.
