DEATH OF MISS WIMBERLY

Died, at her home one and one-fourth miles southeast of Larned, on Monday, September 25, 1905, Miss Alpha Wimberly, aged twenty-two years, three months and thirteen days. The cause of death was a complication of diseases arising from heart trouble after a lingering illness of nine months.

The deceased was born in Salem, Marion county, Illinois, June 12th, 1883. She has been a member of the Christian church for several years and was ever ready and willing to lift a helping hand to those about her, always kind and loving at home and was loved and respected by all who knew her. She leaves a father, mother, five brothers and four sisters to mourn her untimely death.

Funeral services were held at the Christian church, Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock, Rev. Parker officiating and the remains were interred in the Larned cemetery. Through her death the family not only lose a dearly beloved daughter and sister, but she will be missed by a large circle of friends, who extend their sympathy to the stricken family in their sad bereavement.
