SAMUEL F. WIMBERLY

Samuel F. Wimberly died at his home in this city Thursday, April 15th. The funeral services were held from the Christian church Saturday at 2:30 p.m., and were conducted by Rev. F. H. Schmitt. Interment was in Larned cemetery.

The deceased was born at Salem, Ill., June 9th, 1850, and was aged 64 years, 10 months and 6 days at the time of his death.

He was married to Matilda F. Wilbourn in 1881 at Oden, Ill. They moved to Kansas in 1886 and made their home at Larned, where they have resided ever since. Ten children were born to them, all living but one, Alpha who died in 1905.

He leaves to mourn his loss a wife and nine children all present at the funeral. The children are: Ina Farmer, Grover, Thomas, Anna, Samuel, Norval, Alberta, Hattie and Benny. He has one sister and two brothers living, but they could not be present at the funeral because of sickness.
