Mrs. Ina E Whiles passed away at St. John's sanatorium at Springfield at 7:45 Thursday Evening following a protracted illness. The remains were brought to Shelbyville and taken to the Ralph B Lantz mortuary.
Ina Wimberley was born at Salem, Illinois in 1881, the daughter of Sam and Matilda Wimberley. She was married in 1906 to Ted Whiles, who had died several years ago. To this union three children wre born, Maynard, who is now in the Philippine Islands, Ralph of Philo, Idaho, and Ruth of Shelbyville. Her second marriage was to Ray Whiles. To this union four children were born. They are Harold, Stella B, Vera Frances, and Gladys Rae. She also leaves three sisters, Mrs. Will Beck of Learned, Kansas, Mrs. Harold Schaffer of Hutchinson, Kansas, and Mrs. Dewey Franz of Roselia, Kansas. There are also five brothers, Tom and Grover of Learned, Sam of Coldwater, Kansas, Ben of Hutchinson, Kansas, and Norville of Kinsley, Kansas.
Funeral services were held at three o'clock Sunday afternoon from the First Christian Church with Rev. F B Ward in charge of the services.
Casket bearers were: Jasper Poland, Lance Dill, Ed Clawson, Clyde Combs, Alva Guyon, and Cloyd Smith. The flowers were in charge of Mrs. Clare Storm, Miss Dora Stretch, Miss Katheryn Beem, and Mrs. Gladys Mansfield. The casket bearers and flower girls. with one exception, are employees of the Illinois Southwestern Telephone Company,
Miss Katherine Anglin, Mrs. Lloyd Robinson, Clare Storm, and Gus Pundt sang. Interment was in Glenwood Cemetery.

Ina Wimberl(e)y married first Trevor Roy Villers, born 2/16/1886 KS died 10/19/1918, married 5/6/1906 in Kansas. Their children were Maynard Roy, Ralph W, and Ruth Villers.
Ina married 2nd Oliver P Farmer b. @ 1875 KY married @ 1910. Mr. Farmer deserted the family @ 1915 and "went west" never to be heard from again.
Their son Harold Oliver "Billy" Farmer b. 1911.
Ina then married Ray Oscar Whiles @ 1916 born 4 Oct 1889 Illinois, died 20 Feb 1920 Avery Idaho. their children: Stella, Vera. After her marriage to Mr. Whiles all the Villers and Farmer children went by the Whiles surname.
