"Services for James G. Arones, 93, of 911 Sunnyside Ave., Wyomissing, will be Friday at 10 a.m.
The Rev. George Giannaris will officiate in SS. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church. Burial will be in Rosedale Cemetery, Orange, N.J. Francis F. Seidel Inc., is in charge of arrangements.
Arones died Tuesday night in his residence.
Born in Monemvasa, Greece, he was a son of the late George and Stamatia (Katsanos) Arones.
His wife, Calomera (Pontikos) Arones, preceded him in death in 1959.
He had been in the confectionery business for 23 years in Kearney, N.J., prior to retiring in 1945.
Arones was a member of SS. Constantine and Helen Church; Monemvasia Society; Panlaconia Society and the Greek American Progressive Association, Newark, N.J.
Surviving are two daughters; Helen Arones, at home, and Katherine, wife of Ignatius Savadelis, with whom he last resided; four grandchildren and two brothers: Angelo and Pantelis, both in Athens, Greece."
