After the early passing of their parents, Kathy and her sister Helen were adopted by their aunt and uncle, Kalomera and Dimitri Arones. She graduated from Kearney High School in New Jersey. She and Nate Savadelis were married 1947. In 1960 Kathy and her family settled into the Wyomissing community and joined Sts. Constantine and Helen Church where she was active in the Philoptochos.
Kathy was predeceased by her husband Nate leaving a legacy of four loving children: Charles married to Jewel Gelband; James married to Shirley Dunford; Andrew; and MaryAnn married to John Agre. Katherine was blessed with seven grandchildren: Mary Elizabeth, Nicholas, Andrea, Alyssa, Alexander, Steven and Aleka and three great grandchildren: Camryn, Eleanor and Sidney.
Funeral Services will be held at Sts. Constantine and Helen Church, 101 E. Wyomissing Blvd, Reading, on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at 9:00AM. the family will receive friends and relatives at church from 8-9:00AM. Interment will follow the service at Charles Evans Cemetery.
