Elizabeth Radtke and Roland Endres Married

The wedding of Miss Elizabeth Radtke, 1954 East Washington Ave, daughter of Mr and Mrs Carl Radtke, Rib Lake, to Roland F. Endres, son of Mr and Mrs Mathias Endres, 214 South Charter St, took place today at 8 a.m. at St James Catholic Church, the Rev William Wolff officiating.
The bride wore a gown of white satin and lace and a tulle veil. She carried a shower bouquet of roses and lillies of the valley. Miss Flora Radtke, Milwaukee, maid of honor, wore a gown of yellow chiffon and a matching turban and carried a bouquet of white sweet peas and roses. The flower girl, Mary Potter, niece of the bridegroom, wore a green tafetta dress and carried a basket of sweet peas.
Jack Hand, Milwaukee, was best man.
Palms decorated the church. The children's choir furnished the music.
A wedding breakfast was served at Mrs Gifford's tea room for 25 guests. The couple will take an extended trip through Wisconsin.

Roland F. Endres, age 83, died 2 April 1990 at a local hospital. He resided at 910 West Shore Drive, Madison with his loving wife, Elizabeth. He is survived by his wife, the former Elizabeth Radtke; a son, Carl Endres; a daughter, Amy (Robert) Reuter. five sisters, Olive Endres, Flora Potter, Mildred Brown, and Marie Endres, all of Madison, and a sister, Emma Endres Kountz of Toledo, Ohio. Also surviving him are six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Salome (Sally) and Eulalia (Lol); and his parents, Mathias and Amelia Endres. Mr Endres was a union electrician since 1926. He retired in 1971. He also was a long-time member of the Musicians Union. He was a scoutmaster of Troop 17 of St James School for more than 15 years and throughout his later years was a volunteer for several groups, aiding the handicapped, physically limited, and Meals on Wheels.
