As a neighbor she never interfered with other people's business and yet she was always ready to help. As a member of the community she was highly esteemed by all because of her good judgment, her modesty, and her kindness. Mother Peterson was truly a Christian character; her very presence radiated mental and spiritual sunshine. She had a masterful self control, remaining calm in all conditions. Her cheerfulness was inspiring to those who came near her. Mrs. Peterson's life ought to continue to live in this community as an example of real Christian character.
The funeral service was held Tuesday afternoon at the Saronville Methodist Church conducted by the Pastor Rev. Johnston and the remains were laid to rest in the Saronville Methodist Cemetery.
