Mrs. Martha Johnson, mother of Mrs. J. P. Peterson and Mrs. Geo. Anderson died suddenly Monday morning. She attended church Sunday morning and was as usual. The last seven years of her life was spent in darkness, her eyesight being gone. But she was always happy and contented. She had reached the age of 84 years and 24 days leaving two daughters, 21 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Funeral was held from the M. E. church Tuesday afternoon conducted by Rev. Malmstrom.
