Decorah, Ia.- Special: Funeral Services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock for Mrs. John Spilde, 85, of Pleasant township who died Friday after a short illness. The Rev. Alfred Bredesen will officiate, holding services in the Canoe Ridge Lutheran church, Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.

As Julia Spilde, she was born March 19th, 1851, In Hardanger, Norway. A daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nils Spilde. The family immigrated in 1872 to America and Winneshiek county. Miss Spilde married John Spilde the same year. He survives along with the following children: Peter, Henry, Helmer Spilde, and Mrs. Will Seegmiller, all of Decorah. Mrs. Anna Otteson of Beloit, Wis., Mrs. Jimn Spilde of Stoughton, Wis., Mrs. Howard Spilde of Ingmar, Mont., Mrs. Will Rasmussen and Mrs. Lawrence Rasmussen, both of Vienna, S. D
