Chester A. Ormsby
Retired Carpenter
Chester Arthur Ormsby, 70, of Taunton RD 4, a retired carpenter, died in Onondaga General Hospital today after a short illness.
Formerly of Corinth, Mr. Ormsby moved to Taunton 12 years ago.
He was a communicant of St. Anne's Church, Taunton, and of the Carpenters Union.
Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Kittie Gray and Mrs. Jay Bigsby, both of Taunton.
A prayer service will be conducted at the Greenleaf Funeral Home at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday. A high mass of requiem will be celebrated in St. Anne's Church at 9 a.m. Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery, East Greenfield.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow.
