She married Barent Madison Gray on 6 Mar 1894 and on 30 Aug 1896 they welcomed a daughter, Sarah Ann. She was joined in 1908 by a brother, Barent Murray. The chldren grew up on Becker Street in Schenectady.
Kittie outlived her husband and both of her children. Her memories of the past were an important part of her daily life in Taunton where she moved after the death of her husband. There she was closer to her daughter, Sarah and granddaughter, Sylvia.

"MRS. KITTIE A. GRAY. 92, of 4326 Fay Road, Taunton, died last night at her home. A native of Taunton, she was a resident of Schenectady 50 years, returning to Taunton 20 years ago. She was the widow of Barent M. Gray and a member of the First Church of Christ Scientist. Surviving are three grandchildren, Mrs. Sylvia West of Camillus, Mrs. Barbara Romerhaus of Madison, Ind., and Barent M. Gray Jr., of Boston, Mass; a sister, Mrs. Jay M. Bigsby of Taunton; and several great-grandchildren."
