OBITUARY

Earnestine Hendricks

Mrs. Earnestine Hendricks, 58, formerly of Waycross, died early yesterday morning at her residence at Delray Beach, Fla., from burns and suffocation received in a house fire.
She was a native of Manor but had made her home in the Florida city for the past several years. She was the former Miss Earnestine Booth, daughter of the late David Booth and Cornelia James Booth and wife of the late Thomas Millard Hendricks, Sr.
While living in Waycross she was associated with the Diana Shop and the Fashion Shoppe. She was a member of the United Church of Christ, Delray Beach, Fla.
Survivors include one son, David G. Faughnan, U. S. Army, Ft. Benning; two sisters, Mrs. Hubert K. DeShazo, Columbus, and Mrs. Evelyn Maddux, Waycross.
Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 4 p.m. in Miles-Odum Chapel and burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.
Miles-Odum Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
