Final Rites Held for Wife of Waycross Grocery Store Owner

Funeral services for Mrs. Cornelia Booth, 47, wife of David Booth, well-known grocery store operator, were held this morning at 11 o'clock from Trinity Methodist Church.
The Booth residence is 624 Owens street.
Mrs. Booth died suddenly Saturday night, having apparently been in good health up to within a short time of her death.

She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, the Daughters of America and Woman's Auxiliary of the Woodsmen of the World, and was an active member of the Trinity Church.

Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. J. O. J. Taylor, pastor of the Trinity Church, assisted by the Rev. W. A. Kelley of Moultrie, for pastor of Trinity Church and the Rev. Loy Warwick, presiding elder, with interment at Oakland cemetery.

Active pall bearers were T. V. Dickerson, W. D. Rivenbark, Virgil Lee, Marcus Sweat, Hampton Sirmans, and J. L. Youmans.
Honorary pall bearers were E. P. Fairchild, M. W. Bailey, C. C. Freeman, Atwood Freeman, B. F. Etheridge, J. B. G. West. L. H. Davis, H. C. Blackburn, H. E. Dunaway, A. H. Patterson, Thomas B. Tobias, W. K. Meeks, Jack Miller, L. A. DeShazo, D. L. Kennedy, H. M. Puckett, F. A. Cason, W. E. Brasington, J. B. Coffee, O. L. Culpepper, W. M. Capps, R. D. Bowman, J. D. Gibson, R. B. McCullough.
The services were largely attended, and the floral tributes were impressive and beautiful.
Ware Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
