SAMUEL JAY JORGENSEN
Summary
I was born to Alvin and Pearl Jorgensen on Sept. 11, 1956. I graduated from Jordan High School, and attended two years of college. On Valentines Day, 1987 I married my eternal love, Shelly Ashdown.

I was born to Alvin and Pearl Jorgensen on Sept. 11, 1956. I graduated from Jordan High School, and attended two years of college. On Valentines Day, 1987 I married my eternal love, Shelly Ashdown.

My life was cut short by a fatal heart attack on May 3, 1994. I have gone to play in the fields, mountains and streams of Heaven. Though I have great sorrow for leaving behind me, my wife, six children and granddaughter, I know

I will be reunited with them again.I spent my adult years as owner and operator of a local towing company and always tried to be the best husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend that I could be. My favorite past times were to hunt, fish and crack jokes. I had a good life and loved many people and in return they loved me.

Don't cry for me. I am still in your heart, looking out for you, and am preparing a place for you, where together we shall see the sun rise again.

I am survived by my wife, six children, one granddaughter, my parents, four brothers, two sisters and several nieces, nephews and friends.

A celebration of my life will be held on Saturday, May 7, 1994, 11 a.m., Valley Park 1st Ward, 4886 So. Valois Dr. (2360 West), Taylorsville. Viewing one hour prior to services. Friday viewing from 6-8 p.m. at Memorial Estates, 6500 So. Redwood Road. Burial will be at Bountiful Lake View Estates, 1640 E. Lakeview Dr., Bountiful, Utah.
