Ola Ann Andrews Crump was born to James Caleb Andrews (1864 – 1947) and Martha Harriet Verner (1862 – 1933) in Mize, Franklin now Stephens County, Georgia. She was the second of seven known children and the first of two daughters born to James and Martha Verner Andrews.

The 1900 census showed Ora A Andrews living with her parents and five siblings. They lived on the family farm located in Flintsville District 24, Franklin County, Georgia. The household consisted of her Father and Head, 36 year old James C; Mother, 38 year old Martha H; and their five children: 16 year old George A, 15 year old Ora A, 14 year old James H, 12 year old William H, and 6 year old Cleo P. Occupation of each person 10 years old and older: James, Farmer; Martha, none listed; George, Farm Laborer; Ora, none listed; James, Farm Laborer; William and Cleo, At School. All members of the family except Cleo were able to read and write. James Andrews owned the farm, without a mortgage.

On Dec 27, 1904, 17 year old Ola Ann Andrews married 22 year old Henry Freeman Crump in Franklin County, Georgia. The 1910 census showed Ola Andrews Crump, age twenty four, living on the farm located in District 211 of Flintsville, Franklin County, Georgia. The farm was owned by them without a mortgage. She lived with her husband Henry "HF" and three small children: 5 year old son Hoyt L, 4 year old daughter Annie Lois, and 8 month old son Paul. Her husband Henry's occupation was listed as Farmer. No other family member had an occupation listed. Both Henry and Ola were able to read and write. Hoyt had not started school that year; Annie Lois and Paul were too young for school.

The household consisted of Henry as Head, his wife Ola and their four children: 15 year old son Hoyt, 12 year old daughter Lois, 10 year old Paul, and 3 year old son Glenn. The three older children all had attended school since September of the previous year and all household members except the 3 year old Glen were able to read and write. All members of the household except Nina were able to read and write; Glenn and Annella had attended school since September of 1929. Occupation for the family members 10 years old or older were listed as: Henry - Farmer, Ola - none, Paul - Public School Teacher, Glenn - Farm Laborer. It is also noted that there was a radio in the home.

Ola Andrews and Henry Crump had been married 43 years at the time of her death, May 10, 1947 in Stephens County, Georgia. She is buried in the Sunshine Cemetery in Franklin County, Georgia.
