The 1900 census shows the 16 year old George living with his parents and four other siblings. They lived on a farm in Flintsville District 24 of Franklin County, Georgia. All family members except the six year old Cleo were able to read and write.

Twenty two year old George Arther Andrews married nineteen year old Mittie Kelley in 1906. No occupation was designated for Mittie, or daughters, three year old Lucile and one and a half year old Gwinelle.

George completed WWI Draft Registration on Sep 12, 1918. However, he did not serve during the war, as it was noted that he was not a veteran in the 1930 census.
