A former resident of 434 Harmon, she was a self-employed seamstress. She enjoyed sewing and raising flowers. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. Born 26 July 1901, in Paris Ky, she was a daughter of Robert and Laura Lee McKinney. On Sept 22 1918, she married Clifford Curry in Galatine, Tenn. He died in 1969.
Survivors include 2 sons, Buford and Harvey, both of Danville; a daughter, Catherine Beard of Greensburg, Ky; 3 brothers, Austin McKinney and Eugene McKinney, both of Columbia, Ky, and Woodrow McKinney of Greensburg; 3 sisters, Ethel Keys of Lodiburg, Ky., Otie Shelton, of Frankfort, Ky., and Nellie Coomer of Greensburg; 14 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by a son Truman; a daughter, Charlene Stephens; and a grandson, David Curry."
