CHAUNCEY DICKERMAN was the son of my ancesors, SAMUEL & MARY (ALLING) DICKERMAN. He married (1) Rebekah Bradley. They were the parents of Sarah (Dickerman) Wiles and Lucy Dickerman.
He married Hannah Gill (2) on 26 Nov 1777 at the Center Church in New Haven.

In the 1790 Census of Hamden, New Haven Co., CT, "Chauncy Dickerman" family was comprised of three males over 16 yrs. of age, six males under 16 yrs. of age, and five females (a total of 11 people). At a meeting of the town of Hamden in 1809, he was appointed to be a fence viewer.
