Fred O. Pohl Taken By Death
"Fred O. Pohl, a native of Nevada, died in Los Angeles, CA on Tuesday morning.
Mr. Pohl was born in Austin, NV on Oct 22, 1881, and lived practically all his life in the state.
While living in Reno he was employed for many years at the University of Nevada in the chemistry laboratory. Also during his residence here he was a very active member of thre Knights of Pythias lodge.
Survivors include four sisters, Mrs. Emma Hart, of El Segundo, CA. Mrs. Louise Hays, Sacramento, Mrs. Gertrude Lansing, Elsinore and Mrs. Bertha Preston of Sparks (FG#64419015); and a brother Ernest C. Pohl of Reno.
There will be no funeral service and the body will be cremated, in accordance with Mr. Pohl's wishes."
