Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M., Monday, September 20, at Brintlinger & Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, with visitation from 5 to 7 P.M., Sunday, September 19. Family requests casual attire. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Decatur, with graveside rites conducted by the Macon County Honor Guard.
Memorials may be made to Central Christian Church or Donor's Choice.
Hobert was born March 5, 1917, in Mackinaw, Illinois, the son of Tom and Zona Cornwell Dial. He married Louise McDonald on June 7, 1957, in Decatur, Illinois.
Hobert was a life time member of Central Christian Church. He was a U.S. Army Veteran, serving in WWII and Korea. Hobert was a member of Ionic Masonic Lodge 312 AF & AM for over 50 years and a life member. He sold Real Estate in Decatur and the Macon County area and was a car salesman for Perry Thomas.
He is survived by his Wife, Louise; Daughter, Susan Warrington of Bellingham, Washington and her children, Justin & Jennifer, Nephews; Bob Boyer of New Mexico and George Pinner of Decatur, Nieces; Jan Larson and Judy Walman both of Minnesota, Nancy Dial and son Mike of Springfield and Diane Dial of Decatur.
He was preceded in death by his parents and twin brother, Hubert, brother, Paul, sister, Helen Boyer and nephew, Jack Boyer, Jr.
