Leon Carl Andrews attended business college in Williamsport, Lycoming, PA. He married Okey M. Furman, daughter of Jasper and Mary Furman,on 23 Mar 1881 in Williamsport. Leon and Okey lived in Lock Haven, Clinton, PA where they had 3 children: Carl S., Mildred L. and John F. Andrews. Following Okey's death, Leon married Bessie P. Curns. They returned to Powell,PA to help Leon's father run the farm. It was here that Paul L., Edward A., and Robert E. Andrews were born. The farm was sold in 1919 and Leon and family returned to Lock Haven until 1928 when they moved to Mesquite Texas.
