Funeral services were held in California with graveside rites in State Center on Monday afternoon at two o'clock at Hillside cemetery, in charge of Rev Kenneth R Pease, pastor of the first United Presbyterian church.
Miss Beatty was born in Lake City, Minnesota, the daughter of Isaiah and Adeline McCreight Beatty. She grew up and was educated in that area and came to State Center in 1897.
In 1945 she went to live with a niece, Mrs Maxine Hindt, at Monterey Park, California.
Miss Beatty was a member of the Presbyterian church. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
