BENJAMIN had a daughter - MARY AMANDA MATILDA JARRETT - born 1835
In 1837 he had a son - JOHN HENRY BENJAMIN JAPRETT - whose mother was TEVILLIA* KNAPPENBERGER, a daughter of Philip Knappenberger and his wife, Barbara Stettler

BENJAMIN JARRETT, son of JOHN, was married in November 1840 to AMELIA GORR of Lower Macungie (FB 11/18/40). She was born circa 1823. When BENJAMIN died on 5 May 1881 - nine children born of the marriage survived. AMELIA died 15 June 1907 (FB 6/19/1907). Records of Solomon's Churchyard indicate that in addition to the nine children who survived, eight others had died either in infancy or early childhood. Approximate dates of birth of those who survived are from census records. Information on those who died young is from SOLOMONS CHURCH records.
(a) AUGUSTUS B. F. JARRETT - born circa 1841. He married LEVINA (Wenner) - born 1841. U.S. Census 1880 listed six children for them. According to aged newspaper clipping found, AUGUSTUS had in his possession one of his great great grand father's deeds, dated 1737. It was entered in the Recorder's Office in Philadelphia 13 November 1755. It is not known if this deed was passed on to one of AUGUSTUS' children.

JOHN JAPRETT III (D) possibly had another son, JOHN II who was born before 1795. The Will of John Trexler of Macungie, probated 10 March 1795, mentioned a daughter, MARIA ELISABETH TREXLER "who has a son JOHN JARRETT No baptism record was found for the child. However, a baptism record was noted in the Lehigh Church book which may have been for a son born to this son of MARIA ELISABETH TEXLER, as follows:

CHILD: DAVID GERET (or JARRETT) - born 18 April 1815. Sponsors at the baptism were David Trexler and Susanna Schleicher. No othec references were found.
