Mrs. Martha S. Burge 75,died in her home Thursday morning after two years illness of heart trouble and asthma. She was a member of the South Methodist church near Centralia.
She was born March 31,1855 in North Carolina. She was married Nov. 1, 1877 to B. P. Burge. They came to Macon county in 1895 and had lived in and near this community since.
She leaves her husband, four children,Daltzell of Oklahoma,Mary Burge of Macon,Dwight of Argenta,Jason E of Michigan,stepson,a brother,Lee Boggs,10 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete. They are waiting words from relatives.
