Marshall died of Pneumonia at age 61 yrs., 10 mos & 1 day. He was the son of the late Samuel Spring(1770-1846) & his wife Eunice Stowell(1777-1841). Marshall had been a farmer and was born in Grafton.

Marshall & Ann's Children were:
1.Campbell M. Spring(n/a)
2.Henry C. Spring(1848-1863) Co. D 16th VT. Vol.
(Civil War Veteran) was wounded in Gettysburg, Pa & died in Grafton, VT
3. Frank A. Spring(1850-1876)
4. Mary Ann Spring(1839-?)m. J. Noyes of Grafton
