Milo was born Nov 15, 1821 in Knox, NY. He was first married to Caroline Quackenbush March 25, 1847 by Rev. Weston Gage. She died Dec 25, 1851 in Knox. He was then married to Mercy Ann Stephens May 6, 1855 by Elder George Strevell. They had 3 children, Rosannah M. Auchampaugh, Malinda Griffith Auchampaugh, and Ellsworth Auchampaugh. He died Oct 19, 1868 in Knox of typhoid fever.

Obituary:
AUCHAMPAUGH – Died, October 19th, 1868, in Knox, Albany County, New York, Milo Auchampaugh, aged 47 years.

He was for years a faithful and devoted member of the Christian church at Quaker Street, New York, and died in the full hope of immortality at the resurrection of the just. Our brother leaves a wife and four children to mourn their loss. His funeral was attended on October 21st. Brother Taylor, their pastor, being still absent, the writer was called to officiate.
