Sylvia Bowers Ardinger
Sylvia Bowers Ardinger, 74, of Hagerstown, Rt 2, died at Washington County Hospital after a long illness. She was the widow of John Edward Ardinger and the daughter of the late Samuel C. and Sallie Hines Bowers.
She lived with her daughter, Mrs. Charles Mills, Williamsport, Rt 1, for one year before entering the hospital.
She leaves children, Ralph Ardinger, Chambersburg, Pa.; John Ardinger, Hagerstown; Mrs. Robert Green, Halfway; Mrs. Charles Mills, Williamsport, Rt 1; Mrs. Charles Everett, Williamsport, Rt 1; sister, Mrs. Carrie Davis, Hagerstown and 12 grandchildren.
Services will be held in the Leaf Funeral Home, Williamsport, Sunday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. J. Rowland Reichard and the Rev. Kenneth J. Schmidt officiating.
Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Williamsport. Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m.
