Services for Alice Elizabeth Golmon Brown will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, September 1, 2005 in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers, Pineville with Reverend Lee Hollingsworth officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Pollock, Louisiana.

Mrs. Brown was an avid gardner and bird watcher.

She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church of Pollock.

She was preceded in death by parents, William Harrison and Alice Roberts Golmon; brothers, Herman Golmon, Leslie Golmon, Clarence Golmon, Arthur Golmon, Leo Golmon and Ado Golmon; sisters; Bertha Keller and Thelma Hicks.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Clyde L. Brown of Pollock; sister, Maxie Golmon Milford of Dixie Inn; many nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Ronald Golmon, Roy G. Hicks, Larry Milford, Leslie Golmon, Charles L. Gintz and Hershel Brown.

Friends may call Wednesday at Hixson Brothers, Pineville from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. and Thursday from 8 a.m. until service time.
