M.Sgt Adoe Golmon died Nov 22, 1945 Cebu City, Philippine Islands, while in the line of duty according to the Adjunct General's office. Communication dated Jan 7, 1946 stated the military authorities had conducted an investigation and found that Golmon had died of a hemorrhage resulting from an injury to the head. He was returning to his quarters when he was assaulted for no apparent reason by unidentified persons.
It is held under Army regulations as his death occurred in the line of duty.
He died while serving honorably and faithfully in his country's cause. He is survived by four brothers, Hermon, Arthur, Leo and Clarence. Four sisters, Mrs. Bertha Keller, Mrs. John Hicks, Mrs. Wallace Milford and Mrs. Clyde Brown.
