She was a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church.
She was born Aug. 23, 1898 (tombstone shows 8/26/1897), the daughter of George and Mattie Garner.
Her husband, V.K. Pyles, preceded her in death.
Survivors include three children, Lorene McLin, Nancy, Lawrence Pyles and Pauline Argabrite, both of Kettering, Ohio; 11 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Three sons, Dennie, Killis, and Earl Pyles preceded her in death.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow at Morris and Hislope Funeral Home, Science Hill, with the Rev. Earl Davidson officiating.
Burial will be in White Oak Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 until 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
