Mrs. Olive Garner Tucker, 77, West Somerset, died Friday, Dec. 22, at Somerset Center following an illness of five months.

Born Jan. 18, 1901, at Faubush, she was the daughter of George W. and Mattie Elizabeth Myers Garner, both of whom preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband, Chester R. Tucker, whom she married Dec. 24, 1919; four children, Ray Edwin Tucker, Lexington, Mrs. Earl McAlpin, Somerset, Mrs. Lawrence Haney, Nancy, and Mrs. Ronald Johnson, Madisonville; two sisters, Mrs. Alma Wilson, Ingle and Mrs. Sally Pyles, Dayton, Ohio; 13 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was a housewife and member of West Somerset Baptist Church.

Funeral services were held 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 24, at West Somerset Baptist Church with Rev. Richard Hinson officiating.

Burial was in West Somerset Cemetery.
