Mr. Cox was fifty-two years of age. He was born and reared in Winn Parish, and was a valuable employee of the Urania Lumber Company for about twenty years. He had been in failing health for two years. Rev. J. H. Lewis had charge of the funeral services.
Besides a host of relatives and friends, the deceased is survived by one brother, J. D. Cox, and two sisters, Mrs. Dora Kinney of Urania and Mrs. Will Barber.
