Funeral Services Here This Morning For Kenneth Boyer
Kenneth E. Boyer, 63, of 24 Church St., Tupper Lake, died at 2:30 p. m. Sunday at the Mary Fletcher Hospital in Burlington, Vt., where he was transferred on April 15th after a short stay in the Saranac Lake General Hospital.
A Mass of the resurrection was celebrated at 11 a. m. today at St. Alphonsus Church and interment was in St. Alphonsus Cemetery here.
He was born at Malone August 6, 1912, the son of Oscar and Marie Soulieres Boyer, and lived most of his life in Tupper Lake, attending Holy Ghost Academy and working as a carpenter here.
On May 8, 1937 he was married at St. Alphonsus Church to Miss Ellen Gale, who survives. Surviving also are three sons: Eugene Raymond Boyer of Hamilton, N.Y.; Terrance Wayne Boyer of Pompano, Florida, and Sgt. Lance Gale Boyer, now stationed at Lakenheath Air Force Base in England; six sisters: Mrs. Louis (Florence) Cote and Mrs. Real (Natalie) Bourdage, both of Tupper Lake; Mrs. Edward (Leonore) Brunette of Buffalo; Mrs. Bruce (Mary) Darling of Raquette Lake; Mrs. Walter (Wilma) Jasper of Utica, Michigan, and Mrs. Jerome (Helen) Baird of Naperville, Illinois; one brother, Eugene Boyer of Oswego; and eight grandchildren.
