Funeral Services Held Monday For Oscar Boyer, 81

Oscar Boyer, 81, died Saturday morning at Hotel Plaza, 179 Park St., where he resided.

He was found dead in bed about 8:30 a. m. The funeral was at 9 a. m. Monday at St. Alphonsus Church, and interment was in St. Alphonsus Cemetery here.

He was born at Malone Jan. 9, 1886, and was married in that village in 1908 to Miss Minnie Soulieres. They resided at Conifer about fifteen years, while he was employed by the Grasse River Railroad, before moving to Tupper Lake about 40 years ago.

Mrs. Boyer died here Oct. 2, 1953. Surviving are two sons. Eugene Boyer of Elizabethtown and Kenneth Boyer, Upper Saranac Lake: six daughters: Mrs. Louis (Florence) Cote, Hayward Calif.; Mrs. Bruce (Mary) Darling of Raquette Lake; Mrs. Real (Natalie) Bourdage, Tupper Lake; Mrs. Edward (Leonore) Brunette of Buffalo; Mrs. Walter (Wilma) Jasper of Utica, Mich., and Mrs. Jerome (Helen) Baird of Naperville, Ill.; one brother, Herbert Boyer of Massena; 17 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
