Swainsboro - Mrs. Bertha Lee Beasley Gay, 99, of Swainsboro, Ga., died Wednesday, February 21, 2007 at Heritage Healthcare Nursing Home, Swainsboro.
Mrs. Gay was born in Statesboro, Ga., had live in Swainsboro since 1970.
She was a homemaker and a member of Friendship Baptist Church near Statesboro, Ga.
She is survived by two daughters, Betty Joan Kirkendall of Pioneer, OH and Faye Mitchell (Leon) of Swainsboro; two sons Barney Darden Gay (Marcie) of Columbia, SC and Dan M. Gay (Jeanann) of Columbia, SC, 14 grandchildren, sister, Beatrice Ellis (John Paul) of Swainsboro, Ga. and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held 6 - 9 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.
Funeral service will be held 2 p.m., Saturday at Friendship Baptist Church with Reverand Ray Freeman and Reverand Tom Osborne officiating.
Interment: Church Cemetery.
Pallbears wil be Mark Kirkendall , Terry Kirkendall, Tracy Busch, Michael Gay, Greg Adam and Geremy Adams.
