Mrs. Wiley J Poplett

Mrs. Anna Mae Poplett, daughter of Mr & Mrs Bernon S Perkins, was born may 3, 1866, at Keller Station near Peoria, the second in a family of seven. She married WJ. Poplett there sixty-three years ago. The family moved to Guthrie in the spring of 1889, and have lived on the same farm for the past forty-five years.
Mrs. Poplett loved her home and family and was a kind friend and neighbor, unselfish and thoughtful of others. She was a member of Gibson City Presbyterian Church.
She has been failing in health for the past few months, and passed away quietly early Friday evening. Her daughter-in-law, Mrs. Lelah Poplett, has been her companion since the death of Mr poplett (Wyley) a year ago.
She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Stella Augspurger, Guthrie; her son, Ray E., River Forest; five grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Abigal McClallen, Morton; and two brothers, George Perkins, Tampica; and Harry, Manderson, Wyo. Her husband and two sons preceded her in death.
