LAMAR --- Warren LeGrand, 49, was found dead in his home Monday morning of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to a funeral home spokesman.
Mr. LeGrand was a native of Afton, Okla., and had lived in Barton County since 1941. He was a farmer and member of the Newport Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Alma; a son, Ronald, of the state of California; two brothers, Bernard, Golden City, and Bill, Lamar; a half-brother, Dale Greenlee, Provo, Utah; two sisters, Mrs. Betty Campbell, Pratt, Kan., and Mrs. Dorothy Monger, Silver City, N. M.; and three grandchildren.
Daniels of Lamar will announce services.
