Rosalie (Bessette) Sourdiffe Loker died along with her daughter, Victoria (Sourdiffe) Loker and son and daughter in law, Joseph E. and Doris (Bourn) Sourdiffe from injuries sustained during an explosion in Berlin, New York on July 25, 1962.

MRS. ROSALIE LOKER
Mrs. Rosalie (Bessette) Loke, 80, third victim of the Berlin disaster, who died early this morning at Putnam Memorial Hospital, was born in Winooski, March 21, 1882. She was the daughter of Stephen and Marilla (Guyette) Bessette.
Her education had been received at Mellotts Bay schools. She was twice married, first to Peter O. Sourdiffe Sr. of Burlington and later to Alonzo Loker of Berlin. Both are deceased. Since the death of Mr. Loker in 1949, she had made frequent visits at the homes of her children in this area. She had been a resident of Berlin for many years and was a member of Sacred Heart Church in that village.
Survivors are five children; Peter O. Sourdiffe Jr. of North Bennington; Mrs. Beatrice Andrew, Joseph Eugene Sourdiffe and Mrs. Loretta LaFlamme of Bennington and Mrs. Victoria Loker of Berlin; one sister, Mrs. Marie F. Young of Burlington. Several grandchildren and great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews are also left.
The funeral will be Monday at 9:30 am at Charles F. White Funeral Home in Berlin and at 10 in Sacred Heart Church in Berlin. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday afternoon and evening.born about Mar 1881
