Coreen Louise (Oldham) Christopher was born Feb. 25, 1922, in Montalba, Anderson County, and went to be with the Lord Feb. 20, 2012, in Houston.Coreen was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Delmer "P.J." Christopher; parents, Elias M. and Amanda Elender Oldham; two sisters; and five brothers. She is survived by her son, Michael Christopher; her caretakers; nieces, Peggy Larson and Brenda Kelly; and numerous nieces and nephews.A resident of Tyler most of her adult life, she was a member of First Christian Church, a member and officer of the Rebecca Lodge of Tyler and was an active volunteer for the Meals on Wheels program for years.There will be family and friends visitation on Wednesday, Feb. 22, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Tyler Memorial Funeral Home, 12053 Texas Highway 64 West, Tyler. Graveside services will be conducted in Tyler Memorial Park, Thursday, Feb. 23, 2012, at 2 p.m.
