Born Oct. 14, 1872, in the St. Sebald community, he was the son of Isadore and Catherine Preitauer Fliehler. He married August Donath in 1895.
He was a farmer and carpenter. He is survived by his wife, two sons and one daughter. His parents and one son preceded him in death.
Furneral services were held on Monday afternoon at 1:30 at the Gill Funeral home and at 2:00 p.m. at the Emanuel Lutheran church in Strawberry Point, with Rev. S.J. Meyer officiating. Burial was made in the Strawberry Point cemetery.
