Grady Atkinson, age 95, of Elkmont, AL, passed away on Thursday, February 16, 2012 at his residence.
Mr. Atkinson was born September 23, 1916 in Limestone County to Henry Thomas Atkinson and Octavia Hall Atkinson.
Mr. Atkinson was a member of the Elkmont Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Lucille Atkinson; two sons, Ray Atkinsons and Stanley Atkinson and two grandchildren, Stacey Atkinson and Chris Atkinson.
Funeral services will be Monday, February 20, 2012 at 2 p.m. at the Limestone Chapel Funeral Home. Interment will be in New Garden Cemetery with Steve Ferguson officiating.
Mr. Atkinson was preceded in death by his first wife, Ruby Estelle Robinson Atkinson.
